Hi, my name is Audur, born in Reykjavik Iceland and have lived in Greater London since 2002. I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, wife, empty nester, lover of a holistic approach to health and the woman behind Love & Wellness.

I help women over 50 create a calmer, simpler way of living. From clearing the clutter and creating a more organised home to making more confident choices about the food and everyday products they use. My goal is to replace confusion, overwhelm and unnecessary stress with clarity, confidence and a greater sense of ease. When you know what you have, where things are and what you’re choosing to bring into your life, everyday decisions can feel simpler, leaving more space for the things that matter.

I am post-menopausal and have chosen not to use HRT or other medication. At this stage of my life, that feels right for me. I see menopause as a transition rather than a disease, a natural part of ageing that can be approached with awareness, self-care and respect. For me, this phase of life has been a journey of clearing the clutter, both from my home and from my life. It has meant listening more closely to my body, becoming more aware of what I put into and onto it, and learning to care for myself with greater patience and kindness.

A big part of my story began when I watched my late father live with years of illness due to a genetic disorder which caused his kidneys to fail. What he was going through made me more aware of how complicated health can become when you’re faced with different treatments, medications and advice. Of course, medication has an important place and can be essential for many people. But I also saw how difficult it can be when one treatment leads to another concern, or when you’re left wondering what else you can do to support your wellbeing.

That experience changed the way I thought about health. It opened my eyes to how often we treat symptoms instead of supporting the whole person. Mind, Body & Spirit. I knew there had to be another way. A way to work with the body but not just manage it.

It inspired me to study Reflexology and Integrative Nutrition, and to become a little obsessed with reading food labels and ingredient lists. I wanted to understand what I was putting into my body, what I was putting on my skin and how everyday choices could support a healthier, more balanced way of living.

The greatest medicine of all is teaching people how not to need it. – Hippocrates

Whether or not we take those words literally, I believe there is something valuable in the idea behind them: understanding your body, asking questions and becoming more informed about the choices you make.

Midlife doesn’t have to be a crisis. It can be an opportunity to tune in, reassess what matters and decide what you want more and less of in your life. That might mean simplifying your home, becoming more thoughtful about the products you use, paying closer attention to ingredients or simply giving yourself permission to stop doing things that no longer serve you.

It isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about awareness, progress and kindness towards yourself. It’s about learning to work with your body rather than constantly feeling that you have to fight against it. Because that’s what real wellness looks like.

I know how confusing and time-consuming it can be to read the ingredient lists on food, supplements and skincare products. And I also know how difficult it can be to stick to your intentions when we’re surrounded by so many tempting foods, products and messages telling us what we need. I want to help you navigate through all of that and create a simpler, more intentional lifestyle—one that supports better everyday choices and helps you feel more confident about what you bring into your life.

That philosophy extends beyond shopping and ingredients. Our homes can become just as cluttered with products, possessions and things we no longer need. That’s why I also offer a decluttering and home organisation service specifically for women over 50, helping you clear the excess, organise your space and create a home that feels calmer, more manageable and more like you.

I believe that when we simplify what surrounds us, it becomes easier to make confident choices about what we consume, what we buy and what we keep.

Confident shopping starts with trust, simplicity and informed choices. That’s why I also have a Trusted Brands & Exclusive Offers page on my website, featuring products I personally feel comfortable recommending and use myself.
